PACS Hosting:
RemotePACS offers a wide range of co-location services for your PACS system. Our state of the art data center is equipted to host a centralized PACS infrastructure along with the bandwidth to support radiology practices and teleradilogy groups. Our services provide the benefit of scalability without the typical capital costs.

Our Data center is located in a steel and cement constructed building. Our server
room is equipped with Hamaco 4 Post Racks bolted together into one large unit
providing earthquake stability. Our data center is equipped with two dedicated
5-ton carrier air conditioning units. We maintain our offices in the same building
where our server room is located, allowing immediate access to our servers for
maintenance and emergency server reboots whenever necessary.

Our Powerware Plus 80 KVa UPS system will provide backup power for a calibrated
time of up to 4 hours. If there is a need for beyond our four hours of battery
runtime, we will transition backup power to a diesel-powered generator (DGBB
2000 KW), provided by Cummins Cal Pacific, Incorporated. They are located less
than 6 miles from our office and will deliver the generator to our location
completely ready for service.
The extinguishing agent of our FM-200 Fire Suppression System is stored in
a cylinder in our dedicated power room. It is delivered to distribution nozzles
through a system piping network. Once smoke detectors sense the presence of
fire in the protected facility, our detection and control panel then sounds
an alarm (linked to the local fire department) and releases the agent into the
protected area, rapidly extinguishing any signs of flame and/or the fire. Within
10 seconds, FM-200 is effective and the amount of damage, toxicity effects and
decomposition products of combustion are minimized. The safety percentage factor
between the design concentration and toxicity levels is the largest margin of
any fixed gaseous extinguishing systems.

Our security system is comprised of multiple motion detectors located in our
server room and office space. The security system is networked to our local
police and specific company employees. Within the premises, our server room
is secured using a multiple locking system incorporating magnetic locking devices
and manual combination locks. Main access to our building, which houses our
server room and office space, is secured by magnetic locking systems with entrance
granted through access code combinations. Surveillance cameras are located at
ever entrance within and outside our offices. Camera recording is triggered
by any movement within the view of the cameras.
